Q. How much to write a brochure, or an ad, newsletter, postcard, web page, (or fill in the blank)?

A. The charges range from $45 to $80 an hour.

Q. How many hours do those things take?

A. The old law school joke is - "it depends."

A. Meeting, brainstorming, concepting, mindmapping, outlining, interviewing, researching, designing, drafting, editing, proofreading.

As you can see there is very little writing in writing. Most of it is all the rest of it.

Q. Do I need all that?

A. Maybe you don't need all that. Thinking is first, of course. We usually have a phone consult and take it from there. We have a toll free phone and a fax. We use a digital audio recorder, a note pad and a serious set of questions - just like a reporter uses. The more prepared you are with your ideas, the faster it goes. We ask you what you want and you tell us.
